About Lottery Predictor

A free, data-driven tool built for UK Lotto players who want to make more informed number choices.

What is Lottery Predictor?

Lottery Predictor is a free online tool that analyses over a decade of UK National Lottery Lotto draw results to identify number frequency patterns. Rather than picking numbers at random, our tool gives you five distinct strategies based on real historical data โ€” from hot numbers that have appeared most often, to overdue numbers that statistically may be due a run.

The site was built out of a genuine curiosity: do certain numbers appear more frequently than others in the Lotto draw? The answer, based on over 1,099 draws since October 2015, is that some numbers do appear noticeably more โ€” or less โ€” often than the mathematical average. Whether that has any predictive power is a philosophical debate, but the data itself is fascinating.

What data does it use?

Our predictor is based on every UK National Lottery Lotto draw from October 2015 to April 2026 โ€” covering the current 1โ€“59 ball pool format introduced when Camelot updated the game. That gives us 1,099 draws and nearly 6,600 individual ball appearances to analyse.

The UK Lotto draw takes place every Wednesday and Saturday. Six balls are drawn from a pool of 59. Players match as many as possible to win prizes, with the jackpot for matching all six.

The five strategies

๐Ÿ”ฅ

Hot Numbers

Picks from the 20 most-drawn balls in the dataset. Based on frequency momentum.

๐ŸงŠ

Overdue Numbers

Picks from the 20 least-drawn balls. The logic: statistically, they may be due to appear.

โš–๏ธ

Balanced Blend

3 hot + 2 mid-frequency + 1 overdue. A spread across the full frequency spectrum.

๐Ÿ“Š

Frequency Weighted

All 59 balls enter the draw, weighted by how often they've appeared historically.

๐ŸŽฒ

Pure Random

No weighting. Equal probability for every ball โ€” just like the draw machine itself.

Is this guaranteed to win?

No โ€” and we want to be completely transparent about that. The National Lottery uses certified random draw machines. Each draw is entirely independent of every previous draw. A ball that has appeared 153 times has exactly the same probability of appearing next week as a ball that has appeared 116 times.

What our tool does is present historical patterns in an accessible way. Many players find it more satisfying to choose numbers with some data behind them, even knowing that the randomness of the draw means no system can guarantee a win. Think of it as an informed starting point rather than a prediction.
